Privacy notice

Last updated 15 October 2026.

This notice explains how Menuworthy (menuworthy.com) handles personal information when you visit the site or use the app. Questions or requests: support@menuworthy.com.

Your choices at a glance

  • Menuworthy works fully without optional tracking. Optional analytics, advertising and session recordings stay off unless you turn them on.
  • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with at the bottom of every page.
  • If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, optional tracking stays off and we do not ask.

Information we collect and why

  • Account details. Your name, email address, profile picture (if your sign-in provider shares one), the sign-in methods you connect, and your credit balance, to run your account.
  • What you create. Menu text, dish names and prices, the photos and logos you upload, edit instructions, and the images we generate, so we can make your designs and keep your history and photo library.
  • Purchases. Records of credit purchases and payment references. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout and are not stored by Menuworthy.
  • Support requests. The name, email address, message and page you send through the contact form, plus your IP address and browser details.
  • Security. Sign-in sessions record your IP address and browser.

Who processes it for us

  • Cloudflare stores uploaded photos, logos and generated images, and provides our DNS.
  • OpenRouter receives your menu text, instructions and photos to generate images and passes them to the AI model provider that produces the result.
  • Stripe processes payments.
  • Google, Microsoft: if you choose to sign in with one of them, that provider shares your basic profile with us. If you are signed out, the home page loads Google's one-tap sign-in prompt from Google.
  • Zoho Mail sends and receives our email, such as sign-in links, receipts and support replies.
  • Discord carries internal alerts to our team about sign-ins, generations, purchases and support requests. These alerts can include your name, email address, IP address, browser details and the menu text you submit.

Some of these providers process information outside your country.

Cookies and similar storage

Necessary (always on): a sign-in session cookie, storage that keeps your drafts and editor preferences, short-lived flags for the payment flow and prompts, and your privacy choice. Stripe's checkout pages use their own cookies when you pay.

Analytics (optional): Menuworthy's own analytics records the pages you view, what you click (the visible text of buttons and links), product actions such as starting a generation, script errors, time on the page, the referring site, campaign tags in the landing address, and a summary of your device, browser, screen size and language. It uses a random identifier kept in your browser, links the visit to your account if you are signed in, and is stored in Menuworthy's own database. Page addresses are stored without query strings. Visit and event records are deleted after 180 days.

Advertising (optional): the Google Ads tag, which can set cookies and sends visit and purchase-conversion information to Google so we can measure our ads. Google describes its use of this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Session recordings: optional and separate from Analytics. A recording reconstructs page activity; what you type or upload, your menus, photos and account details are hidden. Recordings are deleted after 30 days.

How long we keep information

Analytics records are deleted automatically as described above. We have not set fixed retention periods for other information yet; account data, uploads and generated images stay until you delete them or ask us to delete them. You can delete uploaded photos and logos yourself in the app.

Your requests

Email support@menuworthy.com to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account and its content. We may need to confirm it is you before acting. You can also contact support.

Changes

We will update this page and its date when our practices change.
