How it works
- 1
Snap your menu
Take a photo of the printed menu, choose its PDF, or paste the dishes from Word or Excel.
- 2
Confirm the flagged prices
Anything the reader wasn't sure of, like a sticker over a price, waits for you to confirm it.
- 3
Pick a style and print
Six styles, four formats. Print from your browser or save a PDF for the print shop.
A long menu, still easy to read
Diner menus run long. Menuworthy fits them on one page by flowing sections into two balanced columns, and keeps each section heading with its first dish so nothing gets orphaned at the bottom of a column.
For a really long menu, choose the folded format: A3 folded to A4, with your signature dishes on the cover.
Diner tips
- Showa retro has a warm, classic diner feel. Anime pop is louder.
- Use the note line for breakfast hours or substitutions.
- Star one breakfast dish, one lunch dish and one drink.
- Switch spacing to Packed if the menu runs past one page.
Questions
How many dishes fit on one page?
A page holds about 45 dishes in two columns before the text gets small. Beyond that, use the folded menu.
Can I have separate breakfast and lunch menus?
For now, one menu per browser. Hide the dishes you don't want on each and print them separately.
What does it cost?
Making and previewing your menu is free, with no account. To print without the watermark, a restaurant pass is $29 (¥3,980 including tax for yen menus) for a year, for every menu, board and poster that restaurant makes.
Will my prices change?
No. Prices are copied as written and set in type, not drawn. Any price the reader isn't sure of is flagged for you to confirm first.
